Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund
*Must apply during 8th grade year.
The Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund (DMSF) assists Chicago high school students who show academic and leadership promise to achieve their educational goals and continue succeeding in college. It is a four-year commitment which involves high academic performance, out-of-school meetings, occasional mentoring, and parental involvement. Accepted students get access to a pre-high school academic workshop, tutoring and mentoring, college counseling and access to summer programs and internships.
Eligibility and Obligations:
- Students apply and are selected in 8th grade for this four-year scholarship
- Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA
- Students must follow Daniel Murphy contract
- Students must apply for financial aid every year
